Tadka Daal

A classic and hearty Indian lentil curry that is protein packed, vegan and gluten free!  Made with split lentils, aromatic spices and herbs and tempered with garlic, chillies, curry leaves, cumin and mustard seeds.  The tempering process is called 'Tadka' in Hindi and is a commonly used technique in Indian cooking.  Pairs well with rice or as a hearty lentil soup.
